MN has already experienced a youth sports "pause" due to Covid-19 before January when our season gets underway. AVC has determined that the remaining invoices for player fees will be sent out through SportsEngine to each player at the first of each month and will be comprised of the following: practice and tournament fees for the team for the prior month, as well as a portion of the remaining coaches' fees.
February 1 invoices will include practice and tournament fees and a portion of coaches' fees from January. The March 1 invoice will include the fees incurred in February, as so on.
Players who are personally impacted by Covid-19, other illness/injury, or weather conditions and are unable to practice or participate will not have their player fees reduced. Although, if MDH or MN issues another "pause" or scheduled tournaments cancel, then the reduction of practice and tournament fees will be factored into that month's players' fees. Invoices will be emailed to each team through SportsEngine to each player's primary parent/guardian.
*Fees are expected to be paid by due dates indicated in the invoices; if fees are not received by the due date deadline, players will not be able to practice or participate in tournaments until fees are received. Outstanding fees are due in full by the home tournament.
